Yvette Nicole Brown slams Khloe Kardashian for water usage
On January 13, Yvette Nicole Brown took to Instagram to criticize Khloe Kardashian for being a water waster amid the LA fires. She posted a 2022 Rolling Stone article that deemed the Kardashians as “L.A.'s Worst Water Wasters." It was reported that Kardashian's Calabasas property allegedly used over 333,000 gallons in a single month. The Kardashian family never officially addressed these reports (via Los Angeles Times).
Brown called her out by writing a caption, which read, "This is from 2022 when Los Angeles was in the midst of a drought. Every citizen was asked to conserve for the good of everyone else. Y'know because of fires? This is how some citizens responded to the ask. Is THIS a joke @khloekardashian?"
Brown’s comments come in light of Kardashian showing her support to Los Angeles Fire Department Chief Kristin M. Crowley, who asked Mayor Bass to allocate appropriate funding to the department to do their job.
Adding on to her comments, Kardashian said in an Instagram story, "You spoke the truth and you had tears in your eyes because I can tell you didn't even want to say that but it was THE TRUTH!!!!!. Thank you for being honest @LosAngelesFireDepartment Chief Crowley. Mayor Bass you are a joke!!!!"
