Homewreckers
The Glen Powell-led AI-themed erotic thriller “Homewreckers” has landed at Legendary after an intense auction. The company beat out Lionsgate, New Regency, Sony Pictures and Warner Bros. Pictures for the project.

The story is based on a novella by Neil Paik who is attached to adaptm and produce. The deal is said to be in the seven-figure range for story rights, as well as seven-figure deal for Paik. [Source: Deadline]

The Housemaid
The Paul Feig-directed “The Housemaid” has set a wide theatrical release on Christmas Day next year. Sydney Sweeney stars as a struggling young woman who is relieved to get a fresh start as a housemaid to Nina (Amanda Seyfried) and Andrew (Brandon Sklenar), an upscale, wealthy couple. Beef
“Parasite” star Song Kang-Ho has signed on as a guest star in the eight half-hour episodes second season of Netflix anthology series “Beef”. Carey Mulligan, Oscar Isaac, Charles Melton, Cailee Spaeny and Youn Yuh-jung also star.

The second season follows a young couple who witnesses an alarming fight between their boss and his wife, triggering chess moves of favors and coercion in the elitist world of a country club and its Korean billionaire owner. [Source: Deadline]

One
Felicity Jones is attached to both star in and executive produce “One,” a drama series set in the world of Formula One racing with the project in development at Amazon MGM Studios for Prime Video.

The story marks Formula 1's first officially sanctioned scripted series. It will focus on a failing family-owned racing team, led by Jones' character, as it contends with fierce personalities, rivals and multi-million-dollar stakes. [Source: Variety]

One Piece
Netflix’s live-action “One Piece” adaptation has released a new featurette in which series star Iñaki Godoy chats with original manga creator Eiichiro Oda. Conducted entirely in Japanese, the interview takes place on the second season’s sets in Cape Town with production having recently wrapped ahead of a late 2025 release.
