The duo sparked dating rumors back in 2020 after releasing their Christmas duet, “Under the Mistletoe.” The chemistry they displayed in the track led to widespread speculation about whether their partnership went beyond music. Over the years, the rumors have resurfaced, but neither Clarkson nor Eldredge has ever confirmed a romantic relationship.
In March 2023, Eldredge addressed the ongoing buzz, clarifying that their collaboration was strictly professional. Speaking to Hello! Magazine, the country singer described Clarkson as a talented person and shared how honored he felt to work with her. He said, “Yeah, those [rumors] always come. It’s crazy but it’s just people I love to make music with. I’ve been very fortunate to get to work with incredible women, and just powerful human beings and great people too, and to get to share the stage with them, it’s a dream."
