Back in Action Trailer: Jamie Foxx & Cameron Diaz Lead Action-Packed Netflix Movie

Netflix has shared the full Back in Action trailer for its upcoming action comedy movie, led by Jamie Foxx and Cameron Diaz. The duo plays former spies who, “years after giving up life in the CIA to start a family, get dragged back into the world of espionage when their cover is blown.” The film will be available for streaming on January 17.

What happens in the Back in Action trailer?
The video features Foxx and Diaz’s characters as they move their family to safety after their spy identities are exposed. It highlights the film’s action-packed sequences, as well as its star-studded cast. Joining the leading duo are Kyle Chandler, Andrew Scott, Jamie Demetriou, McKenna Roberts, Rylan Jackson, and Glenn Close, with Scott serving as the main antagonist.
Back in Action is directed by Horrible Bosses filmmaker Seth Gordon from a screenplay written by Brendan O’Brien. The film is produced by Chernin Entertainment’s Jenno Topping, Peter Chernin, and Sharla Sumpter Bridgett, along with Beau Bauman for Good One Productions and Gordon for Exhibit A. Executive producers are Foxx, Datari Turner, O'Brien, and Tim Lewis.
This marks Diaz’s acting comeback, serving as her first role in nearly a decade after last appearing in the 2014 film adaptation of the Broadway musical Annie, which also co-starred Foxx. After the upcoming Netflix movie, Diaz will next be seen opposite Keanu Reeves, Matt Bomer, and Jonah Hill in the mystery comedy Outcome. She is also expected to reprise her iconic role as Fiona in the highly-anticipated Shrek 5.
