Last week, professor Katie Holmes continued her master class in killer street style.
Spotted while out and about in New York City, she combined black, wide-leg jeans with white sneakers and a tweed jacket in a leisurely revival of '90s urbanite fashion. A few weeks ago, she pulled off a slouchy loungewear look just as easily. In contrast to both of those looks, the actress just wore a super-sleek power ensemble that would slay in a C-suite at a Manhattan office.

Holmes wore a white, satin shirt tucked into cropped black slacks worn over tights, with an unbuttoned suit jacket draped over her shoulders. The only hints of color came from the gold on her black handbag's buckle and the gleaming, heeled mules on her feet.
