HEARTBROKEN Billie Faiers has let the cameras in while breaking down in tears over her alcoholic stepdad.

The devastated star, 34, can be seen sobbing and with her head in her hands in a clip for the new series of her ITVBe reality show.

In emotional scenes, Billie’s mum Suzie Wells tells her: “He said like… I thought ah, this is it. I’ve had enough’.”

Another hard to watch scene from Billie & Greg: The Family Diaries shows Billie’s stepdad, Dave Chatwood, intoxicated.

Billie’s husband Greg Shepherd can be heard telling his father-in-law: “You need to go to the hospital, mate.”

“I ain’t going to no more hospital!” Dave slurs.

In a statement that leaves crying Billie looking perplexed, he adds: “There’s about twenty geezers after me.”

In August, Billie’s sister Sam Faiers confirmed their stepdad – who they refer to as their dad – had been admitted to rehab for alcoholism.

In a lengthy statement, Sam spoke of the family’s admiration of Dave for facing up to his struggles with booze.

In another scene from The Family Diaries, Dave can be seen telling the cameras: “Two weeks of sobriety.

“Going into my first twelve steps of living a clean life.”

Dave was previously married to Sam and Billie’s mum Suzie and they have always treated him as their father.

Their violent biological father split from Suzie when the sisters were toddlers.

Although they are no longer in a relationship, Suzie gets on well with Dave and has also been supporting him through his struggles.

Confirming his admission to rehab, Sam said in August: “As a family, we are so proud of you, Dad.

“Recently, you have faced a couple of difficult episodes due to your alcoholism.

“This is your first time in rehab, and we want you to know how much we love you and that we are here to support you through this journey.

“On my visit Dad wanted a curry & a head shave. Dad and I made a short video because he said he wants to share his journey and hopefully help others who are going through the same thing one day.”

Billie & Greg: The Family Diaries returns for a final series on Wednesday night (October 16).

The couple are bowing out from their reality show so their children Nelly, 10, Arthur, seven, and Margot, one, can grow up away from the cameras.

A source told The Sun on Sunday: “Billie has loved her time on the show and had loads of fun, but thinks it’s time she let her kids grow up away from the cameras for a bit.

“She adores the memories she has made and will treasure them forever, she’s so grateful to the production company, but is excited about exploring new options with ITV.

“There is no bad blood and the sky is the limit.”

An ITV spokesperson added: “We are currently in production with a new series of The Family Diaries to air on ITVX and ITVBe later this year and are in conversations with Billie about projects for 2025.”

The teaser clip for the new series of The Family Diaries was shared on Billie’s Instagram page.

It also features happier scenes of the family swimming, Greg attempting to potty train Margot and the couple at this year’s National Television Awards.

The caption read: “We are back !!! . @familydiariesofficial this Wednesday ITVBe with a brand new series.

“It certainly has been a rollercoaster of emotions the past few months, life is full of ups and downs, lots of fun and good times but also some sad times, that's life!

“No matter what we always get through it together as a family we hope you enjoy the show .”

One fan replied: “Can’t wait but sad that it will be the last ever series.”
