Timothée Chalamet's Lookalike, Miles Mitchell
The Timothée Chalamet lookalike contest was held in New York City's Washington Square Park and drew a crowd large enough to be shut down by the police. College student Miles Mitchell did his take on Chalamet's Willy Wonka, winning the competition and the $50 grand prize. Organizers were fined $500 for putting on the event without a permit, and though Chalamet's team offered to pay, the event planning app Partiful stepped in.
Mitchell later met Chalamet at a screening of the actor's latest film A Complete Unknown, and the pair posed for a photo, to the internet's amusement.
Paul Mescal's Lookalike, Jack Wall O'Reilly
The search for Paul Mescal's lookalike in Dublin, Ireland, ended with Jack Wall O'Reilly claiming the crown. Wall O'Reilly recited a line from Mescal's Normal People to uproarious applause, and he later told the Irish Independent, "I'm very proud, it's been a good buzz."
"I'll try and see Paul at the [Gladiator II] premiere tonight," Wall O'Reilly added. "I hope he's doing all right, he's got a very busy schedule. I'd love to sit down and have a coffee or a pint with him."
Dev Patel's Lookalike, Jaipreet Hundal
The Bay Area united to find Dev Patel's lookalike in San Francisco — and San Jose, California, resident Jaipreet Hundal came out on top. He won a small prize of $50, flowers and a monkey statue.
"My girlfriend hypes me up all the time … she always says I look like Dev Patel," Hundal told the San Francisco Chronicle. "I didn't realize I'd actually win."
In an interview with Varietyat the Red Sea International Film Festival, Patel quipped that he thinks he "would have lost" his own lookalike contest.
"I was quite overwhelmed by it and quite touched," the Monkey Man star said. "Most of the men who showed up were far more handsome and qualified than I am."
Zayn Malik's Lookalike, Shiv Patel
The Zayn Malik lookalike contest, held in New York City's Bushwick neighborhood, won Shiv Patel a free tattoo — and he almost didn't show up to compete!
"I didn't even come to this park. I went to another park by accident, but then I ran over here. I came in with the idea that I might just be a spectator," Patel revealed to Brooklyn Magazine.
Jason Kelce's Lookalike, Paul Crossley
Philadelphia Eagles fans found the beloved football center's clone at a local park, but Jason Kelce had some quibbles with the judging criteria.
Kelce commented on the turnout during an appearance on ESPN's Monday Night Countdown, claiming "any overweight white guy with a beard" can pass as him.
"It's an easy competition. There is absolutely nothing unique about any of these gentlemen other than they are large people with beards," added Kelce. However, the retired NFL star did change his X profile picture to feature another participant in the contest, whom he called "spot on."
Jeremy Allen White's Lookalike, Ben Shabad
Hundreds of Chicago residents said "yes, chef," to therapist Ben Shabad at the Jeremy Allen White lookalike contest. He told Chicago's local ABC affiliate that he "felt confident" going into the Humboldt Park competition.
"People have been telling me I look like him for a long time. I don't know if it's changed my life, but it's changed my Saturday," said Shabad, who won a crown, $50 and a pack of cigarettes.
Harry Styles' Lookalike, Oscar Journeaux
Another One Direction member found his double when musician Oscar Journeaux won the Harry Styles lookalike contest in London. Journeaux opted for a classic Styles look with a leather coat, scarf and white tee.
"I missed a train once because somebody made me give them an autograph," he told Variety following his victory. "I tried to convince him I wasn't [Styles], but he wasn't having it."
Glen Powell's Lookalike, Max Braunstein
Due to his filming schedule, Glen Powell couldn't pop into a lookalike contest in his hometown of Austin, Texas. Still, he appeared via FaceTime to offer one of the winner's loved ones a cameo in an upcoming project. His mother, Cyndy Powell, was also in attendance to judge the ccompetition.
Physician assistant Max Braunstein walked away with the prize, along with $5, a cowboy hat and free queso from Torchy's Tacos for a year.
"My face hasn't hurt like this [from smiling] since I was 10 and at Disney World," Braunstein told Austin's local Fox affiliate.
Drake's Lookalike, Makayla Chambers
Drake shocked his lookalike contest's organizers by awarding a surprise prize of $10,000 to the winner. "Just give me a min to stop hyperventilating this moment. I can't believe this is ur account and u know about this. Omg I love you," Casuals Cakery bakery replied to the rapper after he raised the reward via Instagram direct message.
The grand prize was awarded to Makayla Chambers, one of two female finalists, who wore her hair in pigtails, plus a spray-on beard and a fleece jacket.
