He won the first set within minutes after getting off to a much faster start than his previous matches.

Littler, 17, had a pomp in his step as he walked off stage and he was clearly feeling confident.

He even pulled out a new celebration – copying Didier Drogba‘s trademark by putting his arms out to his side.

The teen sensation later reveleaed he was inspired to copy the Chelsea legend by a mate who had been asking him to mimic it, with the pair seeing it on video game Fifa.

Littler confirmed it was Drogba’s celebration after his win.

He said: “It was. My mate’s been pestering me for months and months to do it.

“He was in the crowd tonight and when I was walking off he did the celebration and I looked at him and I did it.”

Littler’s win means he will face another crowd favourite in Stephen Bunting tonight, but he remained unfazed about the support for The Bullet.

Asked about coming up against Bunting, he said: “They’ve been good to me tonight, they were also good to Stephen.

“But obviously they can take their pick for whoever they want to support tomorrow.

“I can see quite a few Nuke shirts in here so I think I got the better. But no, I said in my interview yesterday, I like this.

“Obviously you play, you go to sleep, you wake up and you’re on again. I don’t really like having days off because I don’t practise.

“So I know I’ll be back on tomorrow and I’ll be up for it.”
