"Disease" has Lady Gaga on the run.

On Oct. 22, the pop star, 38, shared a teaser on Instagram for "Disease," the lead single of LG7.

"DISEASE 10.25," Gaga captioned the clip, which features a black-haired Gaga sprinting away in a white dress from a car following her through suburbia.

From the way it's shot, the audience is positioned inside the car chasing the "Applause" singer in the teaser.

The clip features a snippet of the track — a few ominous piano notes with some percussion.

"Disease" is set to be the first offering from Gaga's highly anticipated seventh album.

Last month, the 13-time Grammy winner dropped Harlequin, a companion album to Joker: Folie à Deux, which she dubbed "LG 6.5."

The entire record largely features covers, aside from two original songs called "Happy Mistake" and "Folie à Deux." Gaga worked on the album with fiancé Michael Polansky who served as a co-executive producer on the project with Gaga. The couple are also co-writers on four tracks: "Good Morning," "Get Happy," "Oh, When the Saints" and "If My Friends Could See Me Now."

Harlequin, which debuted at No. 20 on the Billboard 200 was Gaga's third album to top the Billboard jazz charts.

On Monday, Oct. 21, Gaga first announced that "Disease" would arrive on Oct. 25 in an Instagram post with a poster that showcased her in the same white dress seen in the teaser, but leaning over the hood of a car as if she'd been hit by one.

Last month, the "Rain on Me" gave BuzzFeed Canada an update on her album, reconfirming that it was set to arrive in early 2025, following a new single in October.

Gaga also recently told Vogue that her forthcoming project was Polanksy's idea.

"Michael is the person who told me to make a new pop record," the A Star Is Born actress told the publication. "He was like, 'Babe. I love you. You need to make pop music.' "

Added Polansky in the same cover story: "Like anyone would do for the person they love, I encouraged her to lean in to the joy of it. On the Chromatica tour, I saw a fire in her; I wanted to help her keep that alive all the time and just start making music that made her happy."
