This week on Married to Medicine was the DOA — Day of Accountability. That’s what Dr. Simone branded the Season 11 reunion as the cast sat down with Andy Cohen to sort through all of the drama they’ve endured for the last 14 episodes.

The last time we saw the cast, they were tip-toeing around each other at the Bridgerton-themed finale party. They couldn’t all be in the same room together, and Dr. Simone warned that they were once again becoming a fractured group. Married to Medicine Season 11, Episode 15 “Reunion Part 1” further proved her point.

The “Royal Court of Altlanta” sat down in the same room for the first time in months to rehash all of their lingering issues. Just like the Georgiaton party, Phaedra was a no-show after vowing to stay away from these “mean girls.” She’s focused on Real Housewives of Atlanta, but she still delivered some scathing parting words to M2M in a video message. Meanwhile, Sweet Tea fought for her life on the reunion stage, and in the end, the group started digging into those rumors about Dr. Damon. Keep on reading for the full breakdown of Part 1 of the M2M reunion.

Phaedra’s ice-cold exit

It was not surprising to see that Phaedra was a no-show at the M2M Season 11 reunion. What was surprising was the unseen footage from Phaedra they showed at the beginning of the reunion. Andy dropped the video package, and it left the whole cast stunned. In the clips, Phaedra called the cast “trash,” and she supposedly felt “ecstatic” to get away from this show.

"[They're] mean, angry Black women who are mean to other Black women because they're fat. They're funny looking," Phaedra said of her former M2M castmates. “They’re jealous and hateful.”

The ladies of M2M couldn’t agree on much at this reunion, but they could all settle on the fact that Phaedra never fit in with them. It’s also crystal clear to everyone that she’s mad because she got outplayed in the Key West situation with Apollo Nida. Thus, she skipped the DOA, and in the process, she made us even less excited to see her on RHOA.

Quad is growing her royal court

At the beginning of Season 11, Quad was still reeling from the way the group tried to ice her out. The group didn’t even know she had been dating King for a year, and she used her birthday party to hard launch their relationship.

From there, Quad kept having to relitigate her place in the group. Even at the reunion, she and Simone were still stuck in the past. In one breath, they claim to forgive each other, and the next second, they’re back at each other’s throats.

Nonsense aside, Quad shared an exciting update about her IVF journey with King. She’s working with Dr. Jackie on making it happen, and it sounds like it’s only a matter of time before we hear some baby news. According to Jackie, the only issue is that they might have to dial back on having sex 15 times a week. However, Quad said if there’s a will, there’s a way.

Sweet Tea vs the World

Ahead of the reunion, Sweet Tea told us that she felt hesitant about going. It didn’t take long into this episode to realize why she felt that way. She barely had anyone in her corner.

The lashings started with Quad, who got into a nasty back-and-forth with her over Greg. She told Sweet Tea, “He talks to you like sh*t on a stick. Get used to it.”

Then, Tea caught hell from Toya. During Season 11, she was one of the few people trying to get Sweet Tea to keep hanging out with the group. Apparently, that all went down the drain when the cameras stopped rolling.

Tea claimed that when she came on the show, Toya wanted her to “go to war” with Quad. Toya denied it, but let’s be real. Season 10 was all about choosing Tea over Quad. It didn’t work, so now Tea is in a weird spot.

She really couldn’t catch a break in the reunion, and eventually, Simone stepped in to give her some “big sister” energy. She grabbed Tea’s hands and told her to stop throwing jabs. At the DOA, you have to listen.

Dr. Simone to the rescue

Simone went over to Sweet Tea, kneeled in front of her, and grabbed her hand. She loves the theatrics, and fans love her for that.

“I’m holding your hands, I’m trying to come to you as a big sister,” Simone said while kneeling in front of Tea.

“Ya’ll are in battle, and this setting is not just strictly for battling,” Simone told Tea, urging her to try to be open for conversation.

“And a bitch can go to war, I swear,” Sweet Tea replied, clearly missing the point.

Meanwhile, Andy was just sitting there looking as confused as ever. It was that same face he made during the Real Housewives of Miami Season 3 reunion, right before they went on hiatus for eight years.

Dr. Contessa and Dr. Heavenly still can’t get along

While Sweet Tea tried to collect herself, Andy switched gears to look at the contentious relationship between Heavenly and Contessa. Of course, they had to talk through the “square up” threat heard around the world.

Although the two ladies had some low points, they ended Season 11 by trying to focus on moving forward. However, this battleground of a reunion made them go backward.

Things took a turn right at the end when Andy asked Contessa where she heard the rumors about Dr. Damon. Remember how she said he had a secret, biracial child running around in the world? Contessa claimed she heard that from the streets.

When Andy asked if anyone else had heard the rumors, a few other people in the room spoke up. Toya said she heard it, and Dr. Simone said she heard about Damon giving out his number to a random woman. That means that next week, Dr. Heavenly will be the one “going to war” over her man.

Married to Medicine Season 11 continues on Bravo at 9/8c on Sunday nights.
