Katie Maloney Won't 'Deny' Date With Love Island USA's Connor Newsum

Katie Maloney’s been living her best single life after freeing herself from Tom Schwartz. Since the Vanderpump Rules stars’ divorce, it seems like she’s been having a fun time playing the field. On Pump Rules, she had a tryst with Tom’s friend, Max Boyens, and she even edged out Tom in a competition for Tori Keeth’s attention. In the VPR off-season, she was recently spotted on a date withLove Island USA’sConnor Newsum.
Katie and Connor’s rumored link-up was only about a week ago, which might be why she isn’t ready to say much about it. However, she isn’t denying that the two were on a date.
Katie on her date with Connor: "I don't think it's fair to be yapping about it"
On July 31, Katie and Connor were spotted at Laurel Tavern in Studio City, CA. The two sat at a table in the corner and were alone. An eyewitness added that Katie “looked amazing” during the casual outing.
On the August 7th episode of Katie and Dayna Kathan’s podcast, Disrespectfully, Dayna asked Katie if she wanted to address anything about being seen out with Connor.
Katie demurely answered, I on a date? I'm not going to deny anything." She added, "I don't think it's fair to be yapping about it."
Dayna implied that she knows the “tea,” but is “not telling.” Can’t we at least know if Love Island USA host/Katie’s VPR BFF and sandwich shop partner, Ariana Madix, played matchmaker?
Connor’s also still talking to one of his Love Island USA co-stars
Though he exited Love Island without finding love, Connor revealed last month that he and Cass Laudano began chatting once they were both home from Fiji. The two had a brief connection while still in the villa.
Connor shared, “[Cassie and I have] been texting and, maybe, potentially making some light plans. We got along really well. We had a lot in common. We had a few conversations that were just really easy and we work in the same career field. We just had a lot of similar interests, love for animals… She's really easy to talk to, she's gorgeous and just fun to be around."
Since Connor still has a bombshell in the mix, who knows if he and Katie will end up going on more dates. Where’s Scheana Shay and her extensive contact list of people who share their location with her when we need her?!
