Every Real Housewives Holiday Episode to Binge
Yesterday at 01:00 PM
The holidays are here, and it's finally the time to binge-watch Real Housewives. Every season, viewers are gifted one or two new holiday episodes that will hold us over until the New Year. Below is a compilation of some of the best-themed scenes that even Santa himself couldn't help but watch.
Erika Jayne spoiled the holidays on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills
The 90210 women participated in an episode entitled "Seasons Grillings." The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills don't have that many winter episodes since the franchise films during the spring and summer. So, it was nice to see how the women finally embrace the holidays in California. The episode was first class, as this is where Sutton Stracke really earned her diamond. While at a holiday dinner at Kyle Richards‘ home, the girls learned about the depth of Erika Jayne's issues with Tom Girardi. And the Pretty Mess singer realized not everyone in her group had her best interests at heart, so much for the holiday spirit.
The peaches embrace wigs and friendship on Real Housewives of Atlanta
Phaedra Parks deals with Apollo Nida’s imprisonment during the Real Housewives of Atlanta season. After a short prison visit, she decides to throw a Christmas party to lift her spirits. In “Who's Been Naughty, Who's Been Nice” Kandi Burruss is also struggling with who to trust after the FEDs show up at her door. But perhaps the funniest part of the Season 8 holiday episode is that Kenya Moore showed up dressed as the Grinch.
During Season 13's "How the Wig Stole Christmas," Cynthia Bailey decided to throw her famous "Friendmas" party to celebrate sisterhood and the holidays. But a fun night of special surprises, soul food, and expensive presents quickly goes wrong. One gift, a wig, sets the women's temper off, and the party couldn't be saved.
Baby, it's cold on Real Housewives of New York
With 13 seasons of the OGs under our belt, there are some timeless Christmas episodes to binge-watch for the Real Housewives of New York. The franchise usually films in the fall so that means fans get a few great holiday episodes. Season 5 gave us Carole Radziwill's White Elephant party called "This Party is Toast." But perhaps the most iconic Christmas episodes have taken place at Blue Stone Manor. Season 8 gave us “December: Berkshires County” and “Unhappy Holidays.” In Season 9, fans watched as Luann de Lesseps had her winter wedding. But Season 10 was when the holidays started to spiral. In "Holidazed and Confused," Dorinda Medley goes out of her way to find a lifesize nutcracker for Bethenny Frankel but doesn't get her just desserts.
Season 11 RHONY fans were gifted Luann's Christmas Cabaret, which has continued to be the gift that keeps giving. Season 13 was the last season with the old crew, but they gave us two episodes as a parting gift. “Baby, It’s Cold Inside” and “Ho Ho Holidays” left an everlasting impression that NYC is really the best place to get into the festive mood.
Michael Darby definitely got coal on Real Housewives of Potomac
Season 5 of the Real Housewives of Potomac gave us "Deck the Halls with Drama." It was the franchise's first holiday scene and showcased Robyn Dixon's issues with Juan Dixon. The couple invited everyone to a holiday party where Juan asked his ex-wife to marry him once again. This is perhaps one of the best Real Housewives holiday episodes. Naturally, the party ended with a big fight, and Michael Darby broke the fourth wall. He stormed after production to complain.
The saga of the Real Housewives of New Jersey sprinkle cookies
I might be biased, but the Real Housewives of New Jersey has the best Christmas episodes! No one can top watching Melissa Gorga take her Rolex off a tree branch. Season 3 marked the series' first holiday episodes, which included "There Arose Such a Clatter” and “Twas the Fight Before Christmas.” This was the same season that the sprinkle cookie saga started. Season 6 showed Teresa Giudice hoping it wouldn't be her last family Christmas as she awaited the outcome of her legal case. Spoiler: it was Tre's last Christmas. Season 7 opened with a tear-jerker as Teresa returned from Jail just in time for Santa. "Jingle Bells and Prison Cells” was perhaps the best holiday special to date.
The Real Housewives of Orange County ladies shine bright for the holidays
As the very first franchise, the Real Housewives of Orange County holds a special place in fans’ hearts. The first Christmas episode aired during Season 9. Tamra Judge and Heather Dubrow are at an all-time low and wearing ugly Christmas sweaters. To be honest, the episode was a bit dull. But in the next episode, Shannon Beador hosted a not-so-silent-night party that ended with Tammy Sue and Fancy Pants getting into a war of words. The episode lacked the festive spirit, but it did give us a reason to be thankful for our quiet family dinners that year.
You can stream the Real Housewives on Bravo and Peacock.
