On Tuesday evening, King Harald and Queen Sonja hosted the Finnish President and his wife for state dinner on the first day of the three day Finnish State Visit to Norway. While the women of the Norwegian Royal Family wore several impressive tiaras, they also wore several royal orders.

In addition to the imposing Norwegian Emerald Parure Tiara, Queen Sonja wore the Royal Family Order of King Harald V, the current family order that features a portrait of King Harald on a blue background in a jewelled frame suspended on a red ribbon with a blue stripe and white trim.

The Norwegian Queen also wore the Order of the White Rose of Finland, with the cross insignia hung from an ultramarine ribbon.

Crown Princess Mette-Marit was also wearing the Royal Family Order of King Harald V and the Order of the White Rose of Finland, along with the Diamond Daisy Bandeau Tiara.

Princess Astrid chose to wear the Vasa Tiara for the evening, a tiara that was created nearly a century ago. In addition to the Royal Family Order of King Harald V and the Order of the White Rose of Finland, Princess Astrid also wore the Royal Family Order of King Haakon VII and the Royal Family Order of King Olav V.
