Are Ashley Avignone and Taylor Swift related?
Ashley Avignone and Taylor Swift are not related. However, they are longtime best friends.
Avignone and Swift’s friendship harks back to 2008. This was indirectly revealed via an Instagram post, where the duo celebrated not only the global music icon’s birthday but also 11 years of friendship. Swift and Avignone met through their mutual friend, actress Emma Stone, whom Avignone styled in the past.
The stylist has been by Swift’s side for major events involving the singer over the years. Earlier this year, she attended the 2024 Super Bowl event where she and Swift supported the Kansas City Chiefs, which included the latter’s boyfriend Travis Kelce, in their match against the San Francisco 49ers.
More recently, she also attended a surprise celebration party hosted by Kelce, after Swift wrapped up her long-running Eras Tour.
Besides Swift, Avignone is also friends with other notable celebrities within her circle like Gigi Hadid and Blake Lively. She has also hung out with the likes of Justin Theroux, Sabrina Carpenter, and the Haim sisters, Alana and Este.
Avignone is the founder of Avignone Studio and studied Fashion/Apparel Design at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising, Los Angeles.
She got her start in styling via an assistant celebrity stylist gig. Avignone then appeared in the third season of The Rachel Zoe Project in 2010. She then worked with multiple agencies over the years. Avignone eventually branched out and signed with The Wall Group in 2012.
Avignone revealed to Neely and Chloe, that she originally styled for editorial, advertising, and red carpet events but has since shifted her focus to directly working with brands on creative and strategic projects.
