"Snow White" Trailer Leak Stirs Talk

The new trailer for Disney’s live-action “Snow White” is currently appearing on copies of “Wicked” in cinemas, but has yet to be officially published online by the studio.
Unofficially, bootleg copies are popping up all over social media and YouTube, and boy are people reacting to it. The new footage finally shows us Gal Gadot as the Evil Queen, as well as the heavily CG dwarves.
It’s expected the studio will release the trailer officially either over the weekend or early Monday, until then the clip is drawing discussion about its approach to the material, the visuals, Gadot’s voice and more.
It follows a number of controversies surrounding the film, some of which have cropped up this month when star Rachel Zegler reportedly expressed upset at Trump supporters before a few says later posting an official apology.
In addition a report over at Forbes suggested the film’s budget hit $270 million by the end of last year – far beyond the original $180-200 million estimates likely due to the reshoots and rewrites the production has undergone.
Further filming has since taken place, with the movie’s final budget possibly being in the $300 million range. The results will speak for themselves when the Marc Webb-directed and Greta Gerwig-penned film opens March 21st 2025.
