Sheamus Deletes Tweet Ahead of WWE RAW Bout with Gunther

WWE Superstar Sheamus, who returned a few weeks ago after months of absence, has sent a controversial message to Gunther. The latter recently lost his Intercontinental Championship to Sami Zayn at WrestleMania 40. Following his loss, he announced his participation in the King of the Ring tournament a few weeks ago.
Ahead of the tournament, it seems WWE Superstar Sheamus decided to criticize Gunther in a controversial tweet that is now deleted. The Celtic Warrior’s post mentioned similarities between Gunther and Hitler. He pointed out their Austrian origins, unique haircuts, and associations with Germans. However, it appears that Sheamus decided to delete the tweet.
Sheamus and Gunther, who have a history together, are set to battle this week on WWE RAW for a huge match.
Sheamus vs. Gunther set for a singles showdown on WWE RAW
The upcoming WWE premium live event, King and Queen of the Ring, will occur in Saudi Arabia. In 2021, Xavier Woods and Zelina Vega were crowned as the respective men’s and women’s division winners. As the tournament returns, Drew McIntyre, LA Knight, Ilja Dragunov, Ricochet, Sheamus, Gunther, and many more have confirmed their participation.
The tournament qualifications start this week on WWE RAW, with multiple matches announced. Notably, Sheamus and Gunther will square off during the tournament qualifier’s opening round in a major bout. Fans know the history between The Ring General and The Celtic Warrior. They first clashed in 2022 at WWE Clash of the Castle, where Gunther defeated Sheamus for the Intercontinental Championship in the United Kingdom.
At WWE WrestleMania 39, they faced off in a triple threat match with Drew McIntyre, with Gunther once again coming out on top. Both stars will battle for the third time on the upcoming edition of WWE RAW. It will be interesting to see who comes out on top between the two stars.
