Robert Pattinson is set to produce and potentially star in “Ren Faire” filmmaker Lance Oppenheim’s first scripted feature film “Primetime” at A24.
Ajon Singh penned the film which centers on a journalist who takes on the underbelly of crime in a unique way and changes television forever.
The film reportedly draws inspiration from the iconic 2000s reality TV show “To Catch a Predator” in which host Chris Hansen was involved in sting operations catching pedophiles.
Pattinson has a deal to produce, but not star at this stage. Oppenheim will direct and executive produce with screenwriter Singh.
Brighton McCloskey, Brian Kavanaugh Jones, Fred Berger, Lars Knudsen, Ari Aster and Tyler Campellone will produce.
Filming is expected to take place in the early part of next year. Pattinson will next be seen on screens starring in Bong Joon-ho's “Mickey 17” and will film “The Batman Part Two” next year.
