Anne Hathaway will star in filmmaker Michael Showalter’s upcoming film adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s best-seller “Verity” at Amazon MGM Studios. Nick Antosca adapts the script in which Hathaway plays a famous author unable to finish her thriller novel after a car accident leaves her incapacitated.
Her husband offers a struggling writer a huge sum to complete the work, but said writer uncovers dark secrets in the process – including an unfinished manuscript that suggests the author is a deranged psychopath. [Source: Variety]
Euphoria
Storm Reid, who plays Gia Bennett who is younger sister to Zendaya's Rue, won't be returning to HBO’s “Euphoria” for its upcoming eight-episode third season which films in January. Reid indicated the news herself with trades subsequently confirming it. The new season is expected to see a time jump of several years. [Source: THR]
How to Train Your Dragon
Universal Pictures has released a new video for the live-action film adaptation of its acclaimed animated fantasy “How to Train Your Dragon” opening on June 13th 2025.
In the clip, director Dean DeBlois discusses the film's story while the behind-the-scenes footage showcases the main cast including Mason Thames, Ni co Parker and Gerard Butler. There’s also a brief glimpse of some of the action in the film.
Star Wars: Skeleton Crew
Lucasfilm has released a new TV spot for their upcoming “Star Wars: Skeleton Crew” series which launches with two episodes on December 3rd. Jude Law, Kerry Condon and Nick Frost lead the cast.
In the series, four children end up on an adventure to make their way home after being lost in the galaxy following a discovery they make on their home planet.
