Sega and Ryu Ga Gotoku have revealed a new trailer for Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii. Showcased is the English voice cast for Majima’s upcoming seafaring adventure, which features some seasoned voice-acting veterans.
Matthew Mercer is Goro Majima in Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii
The voice of Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii’s protagonist Goro Majima opens the trailer. Fans may recognize that Mad Dog is voiced by popular voice actor Matthew Mercer. Mercer has starred in many TV shows and video games, including Dragon Age: The Veilguard, The Legend of Vox Machina, and Sonic X Shadow Generations. He is arguably most known for his work with Critical Role.

Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii is the next game in the beloved Like a Dragon series. It stars the fan-favorite ex-yakuza Goro Majima in the middle of a modern-day pirate conflict. Timeline-wise, it is set after the events of Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth.
Unlike the previous Like a Dragon entry, Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii will feature the classic real-time beat ’em up style combat the series is known for. Majima will have two different fighting styles: the agile “Mad Dog” style and the swashbuckling “Sea Dog” style.
New to the series is ship combat. Players can customize their ship, explore the ocean, and fight enemy ships.
Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii launches February 21, 2025, for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
