Kevin Feige Teases Elizabeth Olsen & Wanda Maximoff’s MCU Future

Following the 2020 Disney+ series WandaVision and her inclusion in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, fans are wondering what might be next for Elizabeth Olsen’s future in the MCU. RELATED: Elizabeth Olsen Would Love to Return to The Marvel Cinematic Universe  Speaking to Variety recently, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige said that he’d love to continue working with Olsen and that due to the fact that the multiverse is now a thing in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, anything could happen. “There really is so much more to explore,” Feige said, “We still haven’t touched on many of her core storylines from the comics. I’d work with Lizzie for another 100 years if we could. Anything’s possible in the multiverse! We’ll have to see.” As for Olsen, she also believes that Wanda Maximoff could return following her unknown fate at the end of the Doctor Strange sequel. She noted that she never believes any of the characters are ever really gone and that she would like to see Wanda get a little closer to redemption after her villain turn. “I don’t think any of these characters are ever really gone…I really don’t know my future. There’s nothing that has been agreed on.” Olsen’s fate is left a bit unknown at the end of the Doctor Strange sequel, as the Scarlet Witch finally comes to her senses after acting as the film’s villain, and seems to sacrifice herself in order to destroy the Darkhold. However, she’s never seen or acknowledged as having died in the film, and Olsen herself said that she hasn’t heard anything about her fate.
