First Trailer: Foxx, Diaz Are "Back in Action"

Netflix has premiered the first trailer for the Cameron Diaz and Jamie Foxx-led “Back in Action” which releases in January.

The story follows a married couple, Emily and Matt, who previously gave up their careers as CIA spies to start a family.

One day, their cover is blown and they have no choice but to return to the world of espionage they left behind.

The film marks the notable return of Diaz to acting after she effectively retired from Hollywood with 2014’s “Annie” remake.

Also starring are Kyle Chandler, Andrew Scott, Jamie Demetriou, McKenna Roberts, Rylan Jackson and Glenn Close.

Seth Gordon (“Identity Thief,” “Baywatch”) directs from a script co-written by Brendan O'Brien. Jenno Topping, Peter Chernin, and Sharla Sumpter Bridgett are producing.

“Back in Action” releases on Netflix on January 17th 2025.
