First Poster: The “Super Mario Bros.” Movie

The first one-sheet for Universal Pictures and Illumination’s animated film adaptation of the “Super Mario Bros.” game franchise has arrived. The companies released the poster this morning on their social media channels ahead of the launch of the official teaser trailer as part of a new Nintendo Direct. The trailer will premiere specifically at 1:05pm US-PT on Thursday. The voice cast for the film includes Chris Pratt as Mario, Charlie Day as Luigi, Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach, Jack Black as Bowser, Keegan-Michael Key as Toad, Seth Rogen as Donkey Kong, Kevin Michael Richardson as Kamek, Fred Armisen as Cranky Kong, and Sebastian Maniscalco as Spike. Mario’s traditional voice actor, Charles Martinet, will also be involved in the film, which is slated to open in cinemas on April 7th 2023. Thursday. Official teaser trailer.
