Taylor Swift and Tom Holland did not date. Moreover, there is also no indication that they know each other personally. The reason some fans believed they had a connection was due to Swift’s song “Karma,” which contains the lyric “Spider-Boy, king of thieves, weave your little webs of opacity.” The first part of the lyric has been misinterpreted by some fans as being a reference to Holland due to his casting as Spider-Man.
However, it is believed by many fans that this lyric in “Karma” is actually more likely a reference to Swift’s feud with Scooter Braun. Their feud began after the end of her partnership with Big Machine Records. The feud escalated after Braun purchased the rights to Swift’s first six albums in 2019 from Big Machine Records’ Scott Borchetta. Swift, who had wanted ownership of her albums and was trying to buy the masters, was devastated by this. Moreover, Braun is also the co-owner of the lifestyle brand 100 Thieves, further supporting the theory that Braun is the “king of thieves” referenced in the song.
Notably, however, Swift has dated both Tom Hiddleston and Jake Gyllenhaal, Holland’s co-stars from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Presently, Taylor Swift is in a relationship with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. Tom Holland, is reportedly engaged to his Spider-Man co-star Zendaya, whom he has been dating since 2021. TMZ reported via their sources that Holland proposed to Zendaya sometime between Christmas and New Year at one of her family homes. Moreover, the outlet also stated that Holland had asked Zendaya’s father Kazembe Ajamu Coleman for her hand in marriage.
