Exclusive Lazareth Clip Previews Pandemic Thriller Movie With Ashley Judd

ComingSoon is debuting an exclusive clip from Lazareth, a new thriller movie set during a pandemic that stars Ashley Judd.
The exclusive Lazareth clip sees two young girls, Imogen (Katie Douglas) and Maeve (Sarah Pidgeon), talking to an injured young man named Owen (Asher Angel). While the girls saved Owen's life and brought him back home with them, Maeve warns him he can only stay if he promises never to tell anyone where they are.

What is Lazareth about?
"Following the death of their parents, Lee (Ashley Judd) adopts her nieces, Imogen (Katie Douglas) and Maeve (Sarah Pidgeon), and raises them in a remote cabin as a deadly pandemic rages on around them," the official synopsis reads. "For over 10 years, the girls are raised to never leave the woods, avoid any and all interaction with outsiders, and ultimately rely on Lee as their only connection to the outside world. Lee has convinced the girls this is the key to survival in what is now an infectious and violent world. But when Imogen and Maeve discover an injured man in the nearby woods, Lee's absolute control begins to disintegrate as their faith in her, and everything they've ever known, begins to unravel."
Lazareth is written and directed by Alec Tibaldi, who previously made 2019's Spiral Farm and 2021's The Daphne Project.
The film also stars Edward Balaban, Kyla Brown, Eddie Wollrabe, Harley Reed, Christine Uhebe, Paulina Patino, and Sophia Baaden.
Robert Ogden Barnum and Eric Binns produced Lazareth, while Judd, Rich Goldberg, Peter Jarowey, Kristin Harris, David Gendron, Ali Jazayeri, Viviana Zarragoitia, John Bails, Agnieszka Balaban, Ian Schuman, Witold Balaban, Luke Daniels, and Alan Pao serve as executive producers.
Lazareth releases in select United States theaters and On Demand on May 10, 2024, from Vertical.
