Debicki, Beetz Team On Steamy Sci-Fi "Blue"

Zazie Beetz (“Deadpool 2,” “Joker”) and Elizabeth Debicki (“The Crown,” “Tenet”) will team for Brazilian director Iuli Gerbase’s English-language psychosexual sci-fi thriller “This Blue is Mine”.

The story unfolds amidst a family holiday at a tropical resort, where a man named Arthur surprises everyone by bringing his new beautiful and enigmatic girlfriend, Ivy (Debicki).

Ivy's odd behavior throws the dynamics off balance between Arthur and his adult daughters. Beetz plays the younger daughter Connie who is still recovering from the trauma of a recent miscarriage.

One evening, after Connie gets very drunk, Ivy quietly reveals to her that she's actually an alien visiting Earth. Connie soon finds herself seduced by Ivy and invited to follow her back to her planet.

It’s an invitation that sound more seductive as the family drama heightens, but is she really an alien? Or is Connie having a mental breakdown?

Marissa McMahon and Ashley Schlaifer produce and filming begins in Colombia at the end of Summer.
