Filmmaker Brett Ratner has reportedly set his first film in years, the “Rush Hour” and “X-Men: The Last Stand” director is set to helm a documentary feature about First Lady Melania Trump.

Amazon MGM Studios has agreed to license the film and both Melania Trump and Fernando Sulichin (“Snowden,” “Flag Day”) are executive producers on the project.

Amazon says it will offer “viewers an unprecedented, behind-the-scenes look at First Lady Melania Trump”. Their spokesperson adds that the company is “excited to share this truly unique story with our millions of customers around the world."

The project is expected to release in the first half of this year with both a theatrical and streaming component.

It marks Ratner’s first feature directorial effort since being subjected to multiple accusations of sexual misconduct and harassment during the height of the #MeToo movement in 2017.

He denied accusations and no criminal charges were brought. He last directed 2014’s Dwayne Johnson-led “Hercules”. Trump is poised to return to the White House this month as First Lady, after husband Donald Trump won a second term in November.
