This confirms we're in the darkest timeline. YouTuber turned fighter Jake Paul won the fight against Mike Tyson. Sorry in advance to Drake's wallet, but at least he got a sponsorship out of it. "Mike Tyson, it's such an honor… He's the greatest to ever do it; he's the GOAT," Paul exclaimed after his victory. The fight was mostly uneventful— Paul threw the most punches, almost triple what Tyson threw, with a stronger accuracy percentage. The eight rounds were shorter than a typical boxing match, each 2 minutes long, but their gloves were heavier than normal: 14 oz gloves instead of 10 oz. During the last ten seconds of the fight, Paul bowed to Tyson, showing respect for the fighter who came out of retirement to hit him.

Tension was tight leading up to the fight. At the weigh-ins yesterday, Tyson slapped Paul across the face. Tyson's explosive reaction was possibly building up after Wednesday's press conference when Paul taunted Tyson throughout the discussion. "I'm not getting my shit bit off on Friday night, so I got my diamond-spiked ear covers right there," Paul shared as he tilted his head to show off the bling. If Tyson hadn't reacted to Paul's antics when faced with custom jewelry, then he must've hit a breaking point yesterday as the fight was around the corner. However, at the end of the fight, both competitors showed good sportsmanship so all of the weird beef was probably just for show. But, the real winner of the night was Netflix, as the sports gate earned over $17.8 million for the event.
