Wendy Williams has revealed where her possessions are being kept as she continues to live in the assisted living facility that she's been residing in for the last several months.

On an episode of The View aired on Friday, March 14, the former talk show host, 60, discussed her recent hospitalization in New York City and her current living situation at Coterie, which is located in Hudson Yards. The interview was pre-taped with Williams dialing in alongside her caretaker Ginalisa Monterroso.

During the call, Williams was asked about where she keeps the "fabulous" and iconic purple chair featured on her eponymous talk show, which ran from 2008 to 2022.

"It's in storage! And the guardian, by the way, the last time I wanted to go to storage, she told me, 'No! I won't be going to storage'," explained Williams, who added that "everything" — including "all of" her clothing, sneakers and handbags — are currently being stored elsewhere.

"But when it comes out of storage, I'm keeping it with me for my life. It'll definitely be in my new apartment," she said of the famous set prop.

Williams has been living under a legal guardianship that oversees both her finances and health since May 2022. In recent months, she has been in an ongoing legal battle to end her conservatorship with her court-appointed guardian, Sabrina Morrissey, who claims Williams is "cognitively impaired, permanently disabled and legally incapacitated."

The interview comes days after Williams was unexpectedly taken to the hospital amid her pleas for help on Monday, March 10. Authorities responded to Williams' assisted living facility for a welfare check, a spokesperson for the New York Police Department confirmed to PEOPLE. She was then escorted out of the building, and EMS transported her in an ambulance to a local hospital "for evaluation."

Elsewhere in her interview on The View, Williams, who lives in the memory unit of Coterie, said she was "having a little angina" and "just needed a breath of fresh air."

"I needed to see the doctors. So that's why I went to the hospital," she claimed. "And then, while I was at the hospital, I also got blood drawn for my thyroid, you know? But most importantly, being at the hospital, it was my choice to get an independent evaluation on my incapacitation, which I don't have it. How dare they say I have incapacitations! I do not."

Williams expressed that she wants her current guardian to "get off my neck" and questioned:  "Why am I here?" She later said, "I need a new guardian, and then, I'll get out of guardian."

Williams also spoke about stepping out to dinner at Tucci with her niece Alex Finnie two days after her hospitalization. "I thought it was great, at first! Alex and the boyfriend, they flew from Miami to New York. They got me at the hospital. With permission from the guardian, of course, we left the hospital by ambulette and we stayed here [at the care facility] for, I don't know, about an hour because we knew that we were going out just to celebrate, you know, life."
