Towie star evacuates LA home as he says fires are 'out of control' in worrying video

AS DEVASTATING fires rip through southern California, one of the stars from Towie has been forced to evacuate their home.
Los Angeles has been devastated as emergency services battle to save huge parts of the city from destruction.
The likes of Paris Hilton, Mel Gibson and Heidi & Spencer Pratt have all lost their homes in the number of communities affected by the firestorm.
One star who had to flee the city was former reality TV personality, Liam ‘Gatsby’ Blackwell.
He starred in the hit ITVBe series, The Only Way is Essex from 2015 until 2022.
In 2023, the star decided to quit the long-running ITV series to start a new life for himself over in Los Angeles.
However, the 29-year-old was forced to evacuate from his home in West Hollywood as the Sunset Fire ripped through the city.
More than 1000 buildings have been totally destroyed, and over 130,000 people were forced to leave their properties behind.
Liam took to Instagram as he showed his followers the devastation from the blazing fire in the Hollywood Hills.
The star stated that he left his abode to join his family at their property in West Hills.
He then moved his camera around to show a blazing fire under the lunchtime sun.
As the flames took hold, he told his fans that he had to leave his home as the area was surrounded with sirens and a helicopter.
“This is outta control!!”, he exclaimed.
“This has to be a planned attack or some of these fires have to be arson—doesn't make sense how they can keep starting in random areas! Just got a text to evacuate!!”
He continued: “Please God, make the house and everyone else stay safe Big up all the Firefighters!!!!”
Adding: “This is crazy.”
The natural disaster has had a huge impact on the entertainment industry in Tinseltown.
A number of award shows, including the huge Critics Choice Ceremony and the AFI Awards Luncheon, have been postponed.
