The episode started as the group were sat round the first roundtable of the series.

Although, retired opera singer turned traitor Linda, 70, fell under suspicion, she managed to avoid the first banishment.

Property Consultant Nathan, 39, was selected by the group to face the chop and leave the castle.

However, they were all left shocked and devastated when he dramatically revealed that they eliminated one of the faithful.

After a tense night, The Traitors struck as the first murder victim was revealed to the group.

Window cleaner Keith, 60, was chosen as the first victim to face the axe at the hands of The Traitors.

Charlotte voted for Keith at the previous round table and Armani suggested that his elimination would put the suspicion on her.

In his confessional, Keith was not surprised to have gotten the boot as he thought he could have been a “threat” to the killers at large.

This was due to the fact he was smart, well liked and a “father figure” to the group.

The remaining players then had to face their first mission to earn money and build up the jackpot.

Various chests filled with gold were stationed around the special dedicated challenge area.

But the mission also contained a twist, as a giant statue of a Traitor in the cloak loomed large.

Some of the crated were filled with gunpowder, and if the group managed to get enough gunpowder into a central barrell, there would be no murder later.

During the challenge, 24-year-old translator Elen couldn’t help but moan about the weight of the metal buckets that were filled with the fire fuel.

How does The Traitors work and who hosts it?

The Traitors first launched in the UK in 2022, after the Dutch format was acquired by the BBC.

Claudia Winkleman is the show’s host, and has now hosted all three series to date.

How does it work?

It is a reality game show that involves 22 contestants, and some of them are chosen to be The Traitors.

The Traitors sees a group of contestants taking part in “the ultimate game of truth and deception”.

The group of contestants are competing for the chance to walk away with a huge cash prize.

While navigating through a series of challenges, the team are also tasked with figuring out who the Traitors are in the group (usually three contestants).

Each night, the Traitors gather to “eliminate” one of the Faithful, removing them from the competition

Meanwhile, the traitors can be “banished” if they're successfully outed as a traitor by a faithful.

The winners of the show are either the Traitor who remains undetected or the Faithfuls if they successfully eliminate all the Traitors.

The prize sees the winner could get £120K.

As such she put herself under suspicion from fellow players before the emotional roundtable.

However, Armani was secretly left fuming when the group managed to exceed the levels needed and the huge cloak came crumbling down.

Although Jake was still suspicious of Linda, most of the mother players could not get past Elen’s comments during the game and another faithful was banished.

After the elimination, Armani felt the need to tell her fellow Traitors that they were not being assertive enough.

However, Call Centre Manager Minah, 29, was present when multiple players previously raised their suspicions due to her commanding presence.

Many viewers think Armani’s days are numbered as they took to X – formerly known as Twitter.

One fan wrote: “Not Armani telling the others traitors to be more assertive when other faithfuls are already suspicious of her,” with a laughing GIF.

A second stated: “The other traitors are gonna turn on Armani.”

“Armani won’t make it to the end,” noted a third user.

While another exclaimed: “Armani is far too out there not to be found out. Far too much. She will make some bad decisions, wouldn't be surprised if her Sister threw the first punch too.”

And a fifth added: “Armani thinks she's the group leader telling the other traitors what to do she is playing a horrible game.”
