The Flaming Lips are asking for fans' help finding drummer Steven Drozd's teen daughter, Charlotte.

The 16-year-old daughter of the band's instrumentalist went missing on Saturday, Oct. 5, around 11:30 a.m. in Seattle, Washington, near the Space Needle. Charlotte, whose nickname is Bowie, was last seen on the monorail near the Seattle landmark, Seattle Police Department confirms with PEOPLE.

In the missing report issued by the Seattle Police Department, she is described as approximately 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighing around 130 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes and was wearing khaki shorts and pink shoes.

The Seattle Police Department confirms that Charlotte Drozd is still classified as a missing or runaway juvenile, and a detective from the Missing Persons Unit has been assigned to investigate her case.

Her father, 55, and the band's frontman, Wayne Coyne, posted to their social media accounts on Monday, Oct. 7, announcing that Charlotte has been missing since the weekend. 

"URGENT!!! Please help if you can !!! Steven's daughter ( she is 16 years old ) is missing !!! She was last seen at the Space Needle early on Saturday….I'll post more info as soon as I can❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏," wrote Coyne, 63, in the Instagram caption.  

He also added a series of hashtags, including "#BringBowieHome," as well as "#flaminglips #theflaminglips #MissingPerson #MissingPersonSeattle #MissingInSeattle #MissingChild."

"Thank you Wayne for posting. We don't know what to do ❤️," Steven replied in the comment section.

The Flaming Lips Facebook page also shared the missing persons poster.

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) reported in 2023, there were 28,886 missing children cases, and of those cases, 25,306 were resolved the remaining 3,580 are still active. In Washington, 1,331 children were reported missing last year, 84 cases remain active and the other 1,247 have been successfully found.
