TheSuite Life of Zack & Codyhas been a Disney Channel fan favorite since it premiered 20 years ago on March 18, 2005. Set in Boston's luxurious 25-story Tipton Hotel, the three-time Emmy-nominated sitcom followed identical twin mischief-makers Zack (Dylan Sprouse) and Cody Martin (Cole Sprouse) as they turned their upscale residence into a personal playground. Along the way, the young boys clashed and bonded with the hotel's many quirky guests and staff, including an heiress (Brenda Song), a candy-counter girl (Ashley Tisdale), the hotel manager (Phil Lewis) and more.

The seriesran for three seasons before setting sail with its hit spinoff, The Suite Life on Deck (2008–2011), which concluded with a 2011 movie, The Suite Life Movie. And thanks to Disney+, fans can revisit the entire franchise whenever they want.

So what has the original cast been up to in the two decades since TheSuite Life of Zack & Cody first aired? "Come on down" and find out!

Cole Sprouse as Cody Martin

Cole Sprouse played Cody Martin, the self-proclaimed "educationally gifted" twin.

After he wrapped filming on The Suite Life on Deck in 2011, Cole took a hiatus from acting to focus on his studies — majoring in humanities and archaeology at New York University.

Once he graduated in 2015, he reentered the world of acting in 2017, starring in all seven seasons of the CW show Riverdaleas Jughead Jones. He also led a handful of films, including Five Feet Apart (2019), Moonshot (2022) and Lisa Frankenstein (2024).

In February 2024, Cole spoke to PEOPLE about The Suite Life's lasting impact, acknowledging the show's fond place in fans' hearts. "It's really beautiful to see that people still have such a wonderful and nostalgic space still carved out for children's programming and our show," he said. "Those parts of our childhoods are really special and golden. And it's nice to see that we still have that space with people."

Outside of acting, Cole enjoys photography and has taken fashion, landscape and journalistic photos, with Condé Nast later hiring him to capture his travel adventures. In May 2023, he spoke to GQ Portugal about his decision to take up photography.

"In many ways, I taught myself through trial and error but I did take a couple of courses when I was in college," he explained. "Then I started working for Condé Nast." From there, Cole went on to work on a range of editorial shoots for brands such as Adidas.

In his personal life, Cole dated his Riverdale costarLili Reinhart from 2017 until March 2020. The actor has been dating model Ari Fournier since January 2021.

Dylan Sprouse as Zack Martin

Dylan Sprouse portrayed Zack Martin, Cody's older twin who loved to cause mischief.

Like his brother, Dylan took a break from acting after The Suite Life on Deck and went to study at New York University, where he majored in video game design. Dylan has dabbled in acting over the years and has starred in movies such as Dismissed (2017), After We Collided (2020), Beautiful Disaster (2023), Beautiful Wedding (2024) and Aftermath (2024).

While both Sprouse brothers have shut down the idea of a Suite Life reboot, Dylan revealed that he would love to team up with Cole again — but only if they find the right project.

"I feel like if we did do something together, we would have to make it, which is definitely not off the table," he told E! News in February 2024. "We've talked, but we want to make sure it's really good. I think there's that expectation now that it's been so many years, so if we do do something together, we want to make it really tight."

In 2018, Dylan started dating Hungarian Victoria's Secret model Barbara Palvin. The couple first met at a party, and Dylan slid into Palvin's DMs shortly after. Five years later, in June 2023, the couple announced that they got engaged nine months earlier — and the next month, they married in Hungary in front of 115 guests.

Ashley Tisdale as Maddie Fitzpatrick

Ashley Tisdale played the lovable but controlling candy counter server, Maddie Fitzpatrick.

During The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, Tisdale also starred as Sharpay Evans in theHigh School Musicalfranchise (2006–2008). The overlap even became a joke on The Suite Life, with Maddie auditioning for Sharpay in their high school's production of the movie musical.

While Tisdale wasn't a regular on The Suite Life on Deck, she didn't stop acting. The actress lent her voice to Phineas and Ferb from 2007 to 2015 as Candace — who she is set to reprise on the summer 2025 reboot season — and has voiced other characters on Sabrina: Secrets of a Teenage Witch, American Dad! and Ginger Snaps. She also landed on-screen roles for the series Merry Happy Whatever and Carol's Second Act.

Apart from acting, Tisdale has delved into the world of music and released three studio albums — her latest, Symptoms, was released in 2019. Additionally, Tisdale runs her own lifestyle and wellness company, Frenshe, which sells hair and body-care products at Target. The actress is a self-proclaimed interior design fanatic, too, and she has her own design company, Frenshe Interiors.

Beyond her diverse careers, the Disney Channel alum married musician Christopher French in 2014. Together, they have two daughters, Jupiter Iris and Emerson Clover.

Brenda Song as London Tipton

Brenda Song played the iconic London Tipton, heiress to the Tipton Hotel fortune.

Since starring in the entire Suite Life franchise, Song has continued to act with roles in films like The Social Network(2012), Secret Obsession (2019) and The Last Showgirl(2024), as well as the shows New Girl, Dollface, Running Pointand more.

Even after all these years, Song gets stopped by fans who quote her most iconic moments as London, especially the fan-favorite PRNDL scene. "The PRNDL! I, to this day, get that all the time, randomly, everywhere," she told MTV in January 2025. "In that moment, you just don't realize what you're doing. ... It should be called the PRNDL. London Tipton was right."

In her personal life, Song has been in a relationship with Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin since 2017. The couple, who got engaged in January 2022, share two sons together — Dakota (born in 2021) and Carson (born in 2023).

"Becoming a mom, finding such fulfillment in my personal life has changed me so much," she told PEOPLE in 2025. "I feel like for the first time it's truly that next phase in my life. And with that being said, my priorities changed. That was the big difference. I think that's what I was struggling with is our society really tells us as women to follow your dreams, do what you got to do, go out there, do your thing, girl, but also be a full-time mom, make sure you're at home and making dinner."

Phill Lewis as Mr. Moseby

Phill Lewis' portrayal of uptight hotel manager Mr. Moseby, from his hilarious one-liners to his iconic catchphrases, quickly made him one of the most loved stars of the show.

After appearing in the Suite Life franchise, Lewis had guest appearances on Good Luck Charlie, Raising Hope and Angel from Hell, among other sitcoms. In 2015, he reprised his role as Mr. Moseby in an episode of Disney Channel's Jessie.

He also works off-screen and has directed television episodes of popular comedy series, including theiCarly reboot, How I Met Your Father, Lopez vs. Lopez and Poppa's House.

In July 2024, the Sprouse twins had a suite reunion with Lewis at the premiere of Dylan's film The Duel.

Lewis shares two daughters with his wife, Megan Benton Lewis.

Kim Rhodes as Carey Martin

Kim Rhodes played Carey Martin, Zack and Cody's mom who worked as the Tipton Hotel's lounge singer. Over the years, the actress has reflected on her time working with the Sprouse twins, sharing that both "defended me all the way through."

"I got pregnant when I was on the show, and of course the show dealt with it by making fat jokes. And one of my favorite memories is Dylan had a line that was a fat joke and he just kept skipping over it," Rhodes said during a November 2023 episode of the Back to the Best podcast. "[Dylan] goes, 'I would not disrespect any woman that way, let alone this woman. You write something funny and I'll say it.' "

After her role in the Suite Life franchise came to an end, Rhodes continued to act, playing Sheriff Jody Mills for 19 episodes of the CW'sSupernatural. Rhodes also held supporting guest roles on other series, including Switched at Birth, Colony, Criminal Minds and Kung Fu.

She shares one daughter with her husband, photographer Travis Hodges. In August 2022, Rhodes took part in a live stream with Aucademy to share her journey of being diagnosed with autism as an adult.

Adrian R'Mante as Esteban Ramirez

Adrian R'Mante starred as the Tipton Hotel's bellhop, Esteban Julio Ricardo Montoya de la Rosa Ramírez.

"I respect and love the character that I've created. And I understand the impact I've had on several generations," R'Mante told The Wrap in October 2021. "So I'm okay with it. There's like, certain characters where people just, you know, don't want to own what they did when they were younger or in the past, because they don't want to be stereotyped. But for me, I am blessed to have had that experience. You know what I mean? So Esteban is a big part of my life and I love it."

Since his time on The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, R'Mante has had several guest roles on popular series, including Magnum P.I. and Hawaii Five-0.

He has been married to Mayara Reina since 2018, and the couple have two children together — daughter Ara (born in 2014) and son Ian (born in 2016).

R'Mante has kept his passion for the acting industry, too. He is the CEO and founder of the Los Angeles-based TV and film training program and talent agency CGTV.

Brian Stepanek as Arwin

Brian Stepanek played the hotel's quirky engineer and maintenance man, Arwin, who also lived at the Tipton.

After filming his guest appearances on The Suite Life on Deck, Stepanek continued to act on children's TV.

He starred as Tom Harper in the comedy series Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn, which aired on Nickelodeon from 2014 to 2018. In 2015, he also joined the Nicktoons franchise The Loud House, playing patriarch Lynn Loud Sr. across its many animated and live-action spinoffs. Stepanek also had a recurring role on Young Sheldon from 2017 to 2024.

The actor also occasionally posts on Instagram about being a dad. In April 2020, Stepanek posted a photo of two of his children painting his toenails pink. "Anything to keep them from killing each other. #daddypedicure," Stepanek wrote in the caption.

Estelle Harris as Muriel

Estelle Harris played the role of Muriel, an ex-maid of the Tipton Hotel.

Prior to Suite Life, Harris appeared on Seinfeld as Estelle Constaza. After Suite Life, she revived her role as Mrs. Potato Head in the Toy Story franchise, lending her voice to Toy Story 3 (2010)and Toy Story 4 (2019). Harris' additional voice work included American Dad!, Tarzan 2: The Legend Begins (2005)and several Toy Story short films.

The actress had three children with her husband, Sy Harris, who died in 2021. Harris died a year later — on April 2, 2022 — due to natural causes. She was 93.

Charlie Stewart as Bob

Charlie Stewart portrayed Bob, one of Zack and Cody's best friends from school.

Following the Suite Life franchise, Stewart had guest roles in several movies and on TV shows, including the holiday movie The Dog Who Saved Christmas (2009), which starred Elisa Donovan and Mario Lopez. The former actor's last on-screen credit was Ollie in the 2013 coming-of-age comedy movie The Secret Life of Dorks.
