Lisa Campbell-Goins allegedly had a feeding tube placed into her granddaughter
A Texas grandmother is accused of having an unnecessary gastric feeding tube placed into her granddaughter.
Lisa Campbell-Goins is charged with unlawful restraint, exploitation of a child and injuring a child, according to Tarrant County, Texas, jail records. She was arrested on Dec. 31.
The county's sheriff's office described the investigation as a Munchausen by proxy case, a form of medical child abuse.
The sheriff's office says they are seeking help in obtaining further information on Campbell-Goins.
The 56-year-old grandmother is further accused of having solicited monetary donations, including through a GoFundMe in her name.

It is not immediately clear if she has entered a plea or retained an attorney.
Police did not release any further information on the specifics of the alleged abuse.
