PRIMARK’S viral slouchy jumper was one of the must-have fashion buys of 2024.
Now, stylists at the retail giant have given the knitwear a major update for this year.
Primark’s viral jumper has had a major change for spring[/caption] Staff at the retail giant say they’re ‘obsessed’[/caption] The jumper is cheaper now too[/caption]And the stylish tweak will make it the perfect transitional piece for spring.
The high street chain’s £17 knitted jumper sold out in stores across the country in staple colours including burgundy, light blue, camel and grey.
They later added to the collection with a red option, as well as a black and white striped version and light cream.
It has been designed with 10% lambswool and a perfectly slouched silhouette that will look good at any outfit.
Primark bosses say: “With an oversized, slouched silhouette, this throw-on knit jumper creates an effortless look with a soft and cosy brushed effect.”
They added: “Elevate your all-occasions wardrobe with our oversized ivory crew neck jumper, designed for ultimate comfort and style!
“This jumper features a relaxed, oversized fit that drapes effortlessly, making it a perfect choice for cosy, laid-back days, providing warmth without sacrificing style.
“The classic crew neckline adds a timeless touch, while the oversized silhouette ensures a modern, trendy look.
“Pair it with leggings, jeans, or skirts for a versatile outfit that transitions seamlessly from lounging at home to casual outings or even office days!”
Now, the stylish jumper has hit stores in a cropped version.
Even better? It’s only £15.
Showing it off in a video, staff at Primark’s Lincoln store said: “Say hello to the viral primark jumper but a new short version of it!
“Obsessed with the fit of this.”
A member of staff modelled it with black flared trousers and trainers for a casual look.
And fashion fans are loving it just as much as one gushed after buying it: “It will sell out for sure. Primark smashing it.”
Meanwhile, another wrote: “Omg love.”
The jumper isn’t available online yet for click and collect, so you’ll have to nip to your nearest store to bag it.
So far it looks like it is only available in grey, but with last year’s success there could be more colours to come.
Why Primark is great for looking expensive on a budget

AS someone who’s no stranger to grabbing a last-minute outfit from Primark for a night out, it's about time that celebrities started catching on too.
For as long as I've been heading out, Primark has been my go-to for those "I have nothing to wear" moments, rushing in at the last minute to find something perfect.
And I'm definitely not alone – on any Friday or Saturday night, you'll find plenty of shoppers doing the same thing, right before closing time.
But no matter what, Primark always delivers.
Now, Rita Ora is leading the charge, showing that you can snag a designer-worthy look without spending a fortune at high-end stores.
While Rita's not rushing in last minute for a red carpet outfit, she's proving you can achieve the same high-impact style for much less.
Looking stunning in her tailored suit alongside her mum Vera, Rita fit right in among the other A-listers dripping in Prada, Dior, and Victoria Beckham – if anything, she looked even better than some of the guests at The Fashion Awards.
With Myleene Klass and Roxy Horner already jumping on the Primark bandwagon, I'm sure more stars will be following suit soon enough.
