However, cleaning whizz Danielle, who often shares useful cleaning tips to her 1.9 million followers, took to TikTok to reveal that there’s a simple trick which can make the task so much easier.

“At the bottom and the top of the windows, you will notice these button that say push”, she said, sharing a clip of her window frame.

“Push the buttons down together and pull the window over to the left.

“This extends the window more open so it leaves a lovely big gap for you to fit your arm out and clean the outside of your upstairs windows.”

Danielle demonstrated how, when the window was fully opened, she could reach her arm right through, and scrub the outside of the window with ease.

However, she warned people to be extra careful not to fall out of the window.

Once she had finished cleaning, she simply closed the window as normal, and said that this will lock the window back in place, as normal.

Danielle revealed that her fool proof method for cleaning windows without any streaks is to use a mixture of washing up liquid and white vinegar.

Then, she recommended using a window vac to suck up all of the suds on the glass.

“Tidy up the window frames with a super absorbent cloth”, she advised.

Sharing another tip, Danielle said that you should clean the outside of your windows really early in the morning, or late in the day.

“The sun will dry the products onto your windows too quickly”, and this will leave them streaky”, she said.

Danielle’s (@cleaningwithdanielled) video has likely left many people impressed, as it has racked up over 134.000 views on the video sharing platform.
