Patrick Dempsey Pays Tribute to His 'Incredible' Wife Jillian on Their 25th Anniversary: 'The Love of My Life'

On Wednesday, July 31, the Grey's Anatomy alum, 58, paid tribute to his partner as he marked their 25th wedding anniversary with a touching post shared on Instagram.
"25 years, it feels like just yesterday!" he began alongside a photo of the two at the altar on their wedding day. "I can't get over how quickly the time has gone by. Life would not be the same without you, your vision, your kindness, your compassion, your love, your sexiness, your intelligence, your warmth, your friendship, your wisdom."

"The love of my life, I'm truly grateful for all that you do and who you are. You're an incredible mother, wife, friend, and partner," he concluded.
Soon after, Jillian shared the same picture to her own Instagram account and took a moment to honor her husband and the years they've spent together.
"Happy 25th baby @patrickdempsey!" the makeup artist and businesswoman wrote in the caption. "Vintage moments to cherish. I love you beyond words & our wonderful children. *I'm also thrilled we've made it to an actual big number on a Hallmark card! 😄💍🤍."
Under her mother's post, the couple's daughter Talula Dempsey commented, "Cuteeeee 🙌."

In a November 2023 interview, the actor revealed that their trip from Maine to New York made him realize he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her.
"She was pretty game for the road trip so I thought that was good," he recalled. "I love the cold and rain and she loves the sun and beach. We're complete opposites and I have to say, she'll make me do sh-- I never want to do and 9 times out of 10 she's absolutely correct. So she puts up with me."

"I just try to be a better person every day and be present," the Thanksgiving actor said of being a devoted husband. "And to listen to what the needs are of the family and provide from that perspective."
Patrick added that the two share "a good sense of humor, and she's really hardworking. She's always inspired me."
