OTI Mabuse is celebrating after landing a lucrative fashion deal just weeks after leaving the I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here jungle.

The two-time Strictly Come Dancing champion has collaborated with supermarket chain Sainsbury’s to launch a new line of luxe gym wear.

The retailer said the line will ‘channel the feel-good energy of our ambassador Oti

The South African dancer, best known for her taking home the Strictly glitterball trophy in 2019 and 2020, is diving feet first into the new venture.

Available from today at Tu.co.uk, the ‘Reaktiv’ range, is said to ‘channel the feel-good energy of our ambassador Oti Mabuse, making you feel confident and comfortable.’

Priced from £10 to £28 the new collection is comprised of activewear and loungewear, including leggings, sports crop tops, vests, joggers and jackets.

Oti said of the line: “I wanted to create a range that not only makes you feel amazing but is accessible and affordable – feeling great should be for everyone!”

More styles will be added to the 67-piece range, available in x-small to xx-large sizes, throughout January.

The line will be available online at Tu and Argos, as well as in selected Sainsbury’s stores.

Developed in collaboration with Tu’s supplier Poeticgem, it offers clothing in cool neutrals plus pops of pattern, including Oti’s favourite leopard print.

Design details include pockets in leggings for phones, light-reflecting shower-resistant jackets and soft fabrics for comfort.

Charlotte Pettican, director of ladieswear at Poeticgem said: "Each item is designed to mix and match seamlessly, making styling effortless and adaptable to any lifestyle."

Oti Mabuse is the only professional dancer to have won Strictly twice concurrently.

The mother of one was also a contestant on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in 2024.

She spent 22 days in the Australian jungle before being the ninth celebrity to be voted off the show.

The dancer just missed out on making it through to the final.

Asked whether she found it harder being in the jungle or being a mum, she said: “Both are very rewarding, but being a mum is tough. It’s tougher than any critters and spiders. It’s 24/7, nonstop, entertaining.”

The show described her as bringing: “All the moves, all the energy and all the hugs.”

She said her experience in the jungle helped her accept herself and find happiness.

Speaking to Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary on This Morning she said: “I loved it. I do love my campmates. We were in a space where we were able to talk about things we have been through…and we all learned the more we talk about things the more we get over them, and they don’t hold power over us any more.”

“We felt like the space was safe. It was safe to say what we have been going through. Safe to cry.”

“We forgot the cameras were there. When you’re in camp it started to feel like home and we relaxed.”
