The Oscar winner, who stars in the new erotic thriller film 'Babygirl', spoke to PEOPLE for One Last Thing
Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have been married for almost two decades, but Urban is sure to keep his wife on her toes.
"I like being asked out, which he still does," says Kidman, 57, of her musician husband as she recalls their last night date night. "Seven nights ago we went to dinner in New York. We love Japanese food, but I'm open [to everything]. I like not knowing where he's going to take me. Surprise me, baby!"

Kidman is sentimental about their relationship in other ways, too: her favorite song is "Once in a Lifetime", which Urban released five months after the pair wed in 2006.
"Keith wrote that for me when we were first getting married," she recalls. The two went on to welcome daughter Sunday Rose, 16, in 2008, followed by daughter Faith, 13, in 2010.
And, despite all of her impressive professional accolades, Kidman says she still loves to earn a little extra credit where it matters: with her girls.
"I'm taking my youngest to Dollywood tomorrow," she says. "That's mom points, right? We're all huge Dolly fans, and Dollywood is so fun at this time of year."
Kidman, who stars in the new erotic thriller Babygirl, chatted more with PEOPLE for One Last Thing:
Last time I was starstruck:
I'm a starstruck kind of person. I met James Taylor when we were doing hurricane relief in North Carolina, and I couldn't speak. I just love his heart.
Last time I was nervous:
Every time we screen Babygirl. It's so open and raw for me. I've seen it three times, and that's enough. I'll be very nervous on Christmas [when the film opens], which is a pity because it's meant to be not a nerve-racking day.
Last thing I do before bed:
I have a hot bath, and we take our little toy poodle Julian out to pee, and then he sleeps with us on the bed. We're those people.
Last time I was recognized:
Today! I drove two hours to my daughter [Sunday Rose]'s dance competition. I just do photos and hug people. They're all watching [Special Ops:] Lioness right now and were asking about it. There's just a lot of warmth and kindness.
Babygirlhits theaters Dec. 25.
