When Joe asked Magnus about the “craziest” guest at a family dinner, the young Ferrell didn't disappoint.

“It's kind of a bizarre story,” Magnus admitted. “It wasn't really a family dinner—it was more like this Christmas thing we do with close friends and family.

John C Reilly was there, and it was pretty normal. Then, at one point, he just started singing opera. Like, performing an opera song.

“It was the most amazing thing. Bizarre, but then you're like, ‘Wait, this is so funny.'”

Magnus also spoke about growing up in a household with one of Hollywood's top comedy icons, admitting that he wasn't allowed to watch some of his dad's films until he was older.

He shared: “There are still some movies I haven't seen yet, just because I haven't gotten around to it.

“I haven't seen Blades of Glory, which I think is kind of a crime.

Step Brothers, though—that's my favorite of his movies. I just think it's funny.”

Although his dad is much better known for being the on screen talent of the family, Magnus has had his own brush with acting.

He was credited as Sea World Kid in his dad's 2013 hit Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues.

Magnus has also previously opened up about how his dad’s sense of humour extends beyond the world of film.

He told his followers on TikTok that Will Ferrell turned up to his prom dressed as a medieval lord “to embarrass me”.
