The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has recalled over 75,054 bottles (about 12,500 cases) of International Delight creamer products. The voluntary recall from Danone, LLC, the parent company of the popular creamer brand, was initiated on Feb. 21 and has not been issued a termination date.
According to the report published by the FDA, Danone, LLC, began the recall process due to customer complaints regarding "spoilage and illness" from using the product — though no specific symptoms were included in the report — making the recall a Class II risk.

International Delight creamersThis recall classification, as outlined by the Michigan Department of Agriculture and developed by the FDA, is defined as a situation where a consumer comes in contact with a "violative product" which "may cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences."
The two recalled products are the 32 ounce bottle of the Hazelnut International Delight Coffee Creamer and the 32 ounce bottle of Cinnabon Classic Cinnamon Roll International Delight Coffee Creamer. Each creamer's best-used-by-dates are listed as July 2, 2025 and July 3, 2025, respectively.
In a statement obtained by PEOPLE, a representative from Danone North America confirms the company is aware of the reported "texture issue" and is taking the matter seriously as "this is not the quality we strive for."
"A limited number of these products did not meet our quality standards, due to premature spoilage manifesting as a texture issue," read the statement. "While we know this is disappointing for our creamer fans, testing data has confirmed that this is not a food safety issue. We chose to voluntarily recall these isolated products out of an abundance of caution while we address the quality issue."
The statement goes on to encourage consumers to contact the International Delight Consumer Care Line at 1-800-441-3321 if they experience any issues with products going forward.

International Delight is just one of the more recent recalls of this year. Last month, Lyons ReadyCare and Sysco Imperial Frozen Supplemental Shakes were pulled from shelves in 21 states due to a listeria outbreak that led to 12 deaths and 37 hospitalizations.
As reported by PEOPLE, those who consumed the contaminated products began experiencing symptoms as early as the same day of consumption or as late as 10 weeks after.
