Pink is getting Meghan-fied.
Markle, 43, revived bubblegum pink at her friend's baby shower, per Instagram photos posted on Wednesday, December 11. In celebration of her friend seemingly expecting a daughter, Markle's pastel dress featured a square neckline, a bodycon fit and a floor-length skirt.
Pink has made a resurgence lately, thanks to Ariana Grande wowing in the color during her Wicked press tour, Sabrina Carpenter sporting a rosy corset on her Short n' Sweet Tour and more stars rocking the hue.
Pink was briefly put on the back burner after the beloved Barbiecore aesthetic came to an end. To go along with the movie's core color, Margot Robbie, who played Barbie in the blockbuster, took to method dressing in a number of fuchsia outfits on the press tour. With the help of Markle, the color is sure to be back in full force in no time.

Markle previously popped in red while making a surprise appearance at the Children's Hospital Gala in Los Angeles in October. For the event, she donned a revised version of the A-line Carolina Herrera dress that she wore at the Intrepid Museum's Salute To Freedom Gala back in November 2021.
Her dress still had the same halter top and plunging neckline but a simpler skirt that showed off more of her figure.
The actress has been open using color as a statement since taking a step back from the royal family. In her Netflix docuseries, Harry & Meghan, she explained that she decided to wear mostly neutrals in the early days of her courtship with Prince Harry to avoid breaking royal fashion protocol, which states that one cannot wear the same color as the late Queen Elizabeth II, or other senior members of the family.
"Most of the time that I was in the U.K., I rarely wore color," she said. "There was thought in that."

Since then, she's made a splash in bold patterned dresses, bright yellow gowns and now feminine pastels. Suffice it to say, her sartorial future is looking rosy.
