Scott Edelstein's sister Lauren went viral when she showed the effort he put into the family event
A family has gone viral for a very special screening of Home Alone 2.
Lauren Edelstein, on TikTok @sequinspandex, garnered more than 1 million views on a video of her family's viewing of the 1992 Christmas classic. Her brother, Scott Edelstein, recreated every single meal from the movie to serve to his family as they watched along.
Scott didn't just make the foods, but as the TikTok would reveal, he went the extra mile when it came to presentation. Scott appears first in a tux, serving Coke cans on a silver platter.
Next, he brings out a tray that mimics the contents of the Plaza mini-fridge, complete with individually wrapped homemade cookies.
"Home Alone 2 has been living rent-free in my head since I was a kid, especially the Plaza room service and limo pizza scenes — ultimate food fantasies," Scott tells PEOPLE exclusively. "So, I decided to recreate the whole thing. I watched the movie on repeat, timestamped every meal, and upscaled the grainy stills of every dish just to figure out exactly what was served."
"Last year, I did a screening for friends, and it was a hit, so this year, I dialed it up a notch, delivering the experience in a full tuxedo," he adds.

Scott passed out sticks of gum before he rolled out the dessert cart — complete with raspberry cake, crème brûlée, chocolate mousse and ice cream sundaes.
"He even found the chocolate Santa Kevin has on his tray with the sundae," his impressed sister notes.
Next up were the pizzas, handmade and served in pizza boxes, paired with Coke in champagne glasses. Last, but not least, were the snack trays with Crunch n' Munch, crackers, cookies and Cheez Whiz.
"Merry Christmas to all the Scotts out there," the video concludes.
Commenters praised Scott as "so wholesome" and a "green flag," and told Lauren, "You have no idea how lucky you are to have this experience."
"I would just be sobbing every time Scott came out with more food. That is so thoughtful!" another wrote, while one noted, "The dedication this took! We ALL need a Scott at this point 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹."
"After two years running, this has kind of become a holiday tradition and it's the best night of the year," Lauren tells PEOPLE exclusively. "The level of thought and detail he puts into every aspect is so heartwarming and entertaining."
She adds, "Watching the video take off online has been really funny and cute. With so much craziness in the world, it's always the best when the Internet comes together to bond over something wholesome. Everybody needs a Scott in their lives!"
