Luke Littler sends warning to fans over fake accounts that are scamming people out of money for merchandise

LUKE LITTLER has had to issue a warning to his followers after a rise in fake accounts scamming his fans out of cash.

The 17-year-old darts sensation took to social media to tell his fans to be wary of the scammers online.

Littler has seen his profile within darts explode since bursting onto the scene at the World Championships back in January.

And after riding his wave of sensational form, Littler’s fanbase has continued to grow at an exponential rate.

However, with that has come a small group of scammers who are trying to take advantage of his loyal fans by ripping them off online.

Littler highlighted to his followers on X that accounts have been claiming to sell signed merchandise by the teenager, only to take the money from his fans and never send them anything in return.

In a warning on the social media platform, Littler wrote: “Wanted to share this with you guys as I have been seeing a lot of fake profiles being created of me and my management online.

“These fake accounts, like the two screenshots, have been scamming people and taking their money in return for merch that they then don't get sent.”

One of the examples shared by The Nuke was a signed and framed shirt that was being sold for £50 under the guise of a an email address that was pretending to be Littler’s management.

A seperate post from Littler pleaded with his fans to report any more posts they spot that appear to be selling fake merchandise.

Littler has just come off the back of some of his best ever darts this week, despite leaving the Czech Darts Open empty handed.

The youngster put up aveages in excess of 110 for THREE consecutive matches as he made the semi-final of the competition.

But ultimately crashed out to familiar foe Luke Humphries who went on to win the competition in Prague.

Away from the Oche things are certainly looking good for Littler too as he confirmed he will be taking part in a special episode of iconic TV show Bullseye.

LUKE LITTLER has taken the darts world by storm since exploding onto the scene at the PDC World Championship at the beginning of the year.

The Nuke reached the final on his Ally Pally debut at just 16 years of age – smashing records along the way.

He has then gone on to win a host of PDC events and the Premier League title – which he claimed at the O2 Arena by beating world champion Luke Humphries in May.

He also finished his first season in the World Series as the No1 ranked player.

He has joined Jude Bellingham on the Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe list.

And the teenage titan even had to snub an invite from the WWE.

The Sun exclusively revealed that Littler is plotting to create a fitness empire.

He is also cashing in away from the Oche thanks to an Instagram side hustle.

And he’s even the face of a brand new cereal.

But he is newly single after splitting from girlfriend Eloise Milburn following a 10-month relationship.
