Ludlow races hit by massive delays with jockeys reluctant to run amid freezing temperatures

LUDLOW races has been delayed by at least 30 minutes due to ‘lower than forecast temperatures’.
The setback comes after Newcastle’s action was pushed back 35 minutes due to ‘pesky golfers’ walking on the track.

As of 1pm an official inspection was taking place with jockeys taking to the track.
Stewart Machin said: “Officials were of the view that with a revised racetimes, several jockeys have expressed disquiet about the conditions.
“There are already several withdrawn horses.”
