Logan Paul Says Becoming a Father to 6-Month-Old Daughter Esmé 'Made Me Less Selfish': 'I'm No Longer My First Priority' (Exclusive)

The professional wrestler spoke candidly about fatherhood while at the N.Y.C. red carpet premiere for 'Paul American'

Logan PaulLogan Paul isn't afraid to admit how fatherhood has changed him for the better.
On Wednesday, March 26, Paul attended the New York City red carpet premiere for his Max Original reality series, Paul American. While there, he spoke exclusively to PEOPLE about navigating fatherhood since welcoming 6-month-old daughter Esmé Agdal Paul in September 2024 with fiancée Nina Agdal.
"I'm no longer my first priority," he explains to PEOPLE. "It's made me less selfish. Prior to Nina, I was No. 1 in my life. Now with Esmé, my daughter, I've dropped two rungs down the priority ladder. It's Esmé, Nina, those are interchangeable – then me. So for the first time in my life, I'm not my first concern. I would die for these women."
He adds, "I haven't been able to say that about anyone."

Agdal also spoke to PEOPLE while on the red carpet, sharing a side of her fiancé not seen on his social media accounts and in his previous viral videos.
"He's very calm and mature, and great and sweet, and it's just totally the opposite of what I see in his videos," she explains. "But, like of course, he needs to be entertaining and people need to keep watching and be dialed in. So yeah, it's very, it's very different."

Nina Agdal, Logan PaulPaul and Agdal announced their engagement, which took place in Lake Como, Italy, in July 2023. The following month, they shared they were expecting their first child together.
When asked about the proposal, Agdal admitted to PEOPLE that she wasn't that surprised he asked for her hand in marriage.

"I had a feeling" but "I didn't know my parents were going to be there."

As for marriage plans, Agdal estimated that their ceremony wouldn't take place until next summer due to their busy schedules.
Paul American will be released on Max on Thursday, March 27. According to a synopsis, the reality series will take an unfiltered look at Paul and his brother, Jake Paul. The eight-episode series "peels back the curtain on the most raw, honest, and intimate moments in the brothers' over-the-top, high-octane lives," Max teased.
