A MAJOR London station has been evacuated following an alleged police incident.

Passengers have been told to exit Liverpool Street station this evening, causing disruption for commuters.

In a post on X, Greater Anglia wrote: "Due to the police dealing with an incident at London Liverpool Street some lines are blocked.

“Train services running to and from this station may be cancelled, delayed or revised. Disruption is expected until further notice. Specific train service alterations are available.”
