Liam Payne's Girlfriend Kate Cassidy Debuts Angel Wings Tattoo 2 Months After His Death

Kate Cassidy is sharing some poignant new ink.
The girlfriend of the late Liam Payne, 25, unveiled a new angel wings tattoo in what appeared to be a tribute to the singer on her Instagram Stories on Sunday, Dec. 22.
Cassidy was seen in the candid snap with matching angel wings inked on both her index and middle fingers as she had her arms wrapped around her dog Nala, whom she adopted with Payne a month before his death.
The influencer simply added a red heart emoji over the image of her cuddling Nala on a bed.
Cassidy and the One Direction star dated for two years before his death at age 31 on Oct. 16 after he fell from a third-floor hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

In a video posted on TikTok on Oct. 14, Cassidy shared that she had joined Payne in the city for a two-week vacation before returning home without the singer shortly before his untimely death.
Cassidy called Payne an "angel" while addressing his death two days afterward on her Instagram Stories. "I have been at a complete loss," she wrote. "Nothing about the past few days have felt real. I ask and pray that you'll give me the grace and space to navigate this in private."
"Liam, my angel. You are everything. I want you to know I loved you unconditionally and completely. I will continue to love you for the rest of my life. I love you Liam," the social media star concluded.

Cassidy was spotted attending Payne's funeral along with the couple's friend Damian Hurley in the English countryside on Nov. 20. The late singer's bandmates Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik and Niall Horan were also at the service.

On Dec. 8, Cassidy shared a touching TikTok tribute to her late boyfriend, which revealed a compilation of clips of herself and Payne spending time together as Mazzy Star's 1993 song "Fade Into You" played over the top.
"I love you," Cassidy simply wrote about Payne in the caption.
The compilation video included clips of the couple dancing around a living room as laser lights bounced off the ceiling, Payne playfully dragging Cassidy around by her feet, the couple posing together at Disneyland, eating pizza in a kitchen, sledding on a snowy hill and kissing at a restaurant.
