KWIKFIT’S computer system has reportedly gone down, leaving millions of Brits unable to book appointments.
The outage is believed to be affecting most if not all of the brand’s network of over 600 stores across the UK.
A local KwikFit branch contacted by SunMotors confirmed the outage, saying it was a “national problem”.
Little was known about the cause of the problem, but workers explained that the terminals were simply not working.
They added that head office was “working on” getting the issue fixed but had not yet updated individual branches on its progress.
Kwik Fit has been contacted for comment.
