Kourtney Kardashian Is as Strict as Ever About What Her Kids Can Eat – But Daughter Penelope, 12, Is Starting to Intervene

The Lemme co-founder is famously strict about her kids not eating processed foods
Kourtney Kardashian Barker is still just as strict as she ever was about what her kids eat – but her daughter is starting to push back.
On this week's episode of The Kardashians, family matriarch and momager Kris Jenner, 69, brings 10 of her 13 grandchildren to a pumpkin patch. As she's loading all the kids into a sprinter van, Jenner straps them in and offers them some snacks, which include Gatorade and lollipops, while Kardashian Barker pulls up in her own car.
"Hi! Happy October, it's my time to shine," Kardashian Barker, 45, says, telling her mom, "Good luck with Reign and Saint."
"Can I just go with you guys?" Kardashian Barker's daughter Penelope, 12, asks her mom, refusing to get into the car with her cousins. "You don't want to go with all your cousins?" the Poosh founder asks.

"No! You come with me!" Jenner says to her granddaughter. "Okay, she wants to come with me," Kardashian Barker responds.
Once the family arrives at the pumpkin patch, Kardashian Barker asks her mom how the sprinter van went.
"Interesting," Jenner responds.
"Saint, dipping the lollipop into the Gatorade? Next level," says Kardashian Barker as she watches her nephew concoct a new snack. "I can't believe that's the snacks that you guys have."
"I didn't pick 'em!" Jenner says in response.
"I gave specifics and I said no food coloring, which is Gatorade, I gave specific popsicles," says Kardashian Barker.
"Who buys Gatorade?" Jenner asks. "It's like eating poison."
"Mom, it's fine. He already had it," says Penelope, prompting her mom to calm down and say, "Yeah."
Back in July, Kardashian Barker shared an Instagram Reel of her daughter Penelope's 12th birthday celebrations after she marked the last year before her teens. "12 years young 🎈🌴🎡☀️🌊💘," the proud mom's caption read as the video played alongside Zaz's cover of "La vie en rose."
The video began with a birthday cake that featured white icing, flowers and 12 candles.
"Happy Birthday Penelope!" the cake read as it rested on a cake stand beside a plate of star and circle-shaped sugar cookies.
