"Can you go get me a soda?"
One of the easiest ways to lose a man is to ask him to get you a drink in the middle of a sports game — just ask Kate Hudson.
In a TikTok from the actress, Hudson and a friend recreate the iconic scene from How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days in which her character, Andy Anderson, asks Benjamin Barry (played by Matthew McConaughey) to get her a soda in the final moments of a tense New York Knicks basketball game.
"Ben, can you get a soda?" Hudson, 45, asks the friend she attended the Los Angeles Dodgers vs. New York Yankees World Series baseball game with.
"No," the friend says.
"No can you go get me a soda?" Hudson counters.
"Right now?" the friend replies.
"Yeah, like right now," Hudson says, smiling.

Though Hudson's friend may not have conceded to grabbing her a soda, Ben did, keeping his eyes trained on the scoreboard as he ventured to the concession stand to appease the woman he was trying to woo.
Ultimately, when Ben returned to the stands just as the final point was scored in the tense game, Andy lamented that the soda he delivered wasn't diet.
In How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, Hudson's character famously goes on a quest to use as many tactics as she can to drive a guy away in just 10 days, hoping to impress her editor at the magazine she's writing for. Her love interest, though, is on his own mission to make a woman fall in love with him in the same time frame, with the promise of a big ad deal dangling like a prize at the end.
The comments on Hudson's post are filled with fellow fans of the flick, noting how the movie has stuck with them through the years.

The 2003 rom-com has continued to be one of the most iconic from the era, with plenty of quotable moments beyond the tense Knicks game. At one point, Andy gifts Ben a plant, dubbing it their "love fern" and demanding he keep it alive as a show of his love for her.
In a look back around the film's 20th anniversary with Varietyin 2023, Hudson and McConaughey remembered their chemistry on set.
"What tickles me doesn't bruise you. What tickles you doesn't bruise me," McConaughey said. "We were never afraid to push it to what might be considered too far."
"When you went one direction, I went with you," Hudson added. "But then I would be like, 'I'm gonna throw him off a little bit. Let's see what happens if I do a sharp right.'"
